Let me know what you think.

Other than the barbed wire and shacks, it looks a lot like New Mexico.
Based on climate & topography I was once told that this part of Afghanistan is a ‘twin’ to a section of New Mexico, so it is interesting you made that correlation based on photos. I bet there are parts of NM with the wire & the shacks too…
Reminds me of some parts of Colorado, mud huts excepted.
Yes, the mountains are rugged like the Rockies. I’ve always said I should be living in the mountains…but not like this 😉
These look great 🙂 you have a good eye for photos! l
Thank you for looking. I appreciate the comment too!
You are definitely very talented! Thank you for sharing. 🙂
why, thank you for that!
Wow- greenery! That’s the most green I’ve seen in the area
The guys here say it seemingly happened overnight. They have been here less than a month & it was still brown when they got here. It’s actually kinda pretty when looking down from above – I will post those pictures in the morning (my morning).
Heya, thanks so much for stopping by my blog 🙂
Looks like you are having quite an experience. This is probably a dumb question, but what is COP?
Not a dumb question at all. COP = Combat Outpost…a very small military base. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for clarifying! And it was my pleasure 🙂
