It’s just God smiling down on you and your team. He wants you to know that no matter how close to Hell you are, heaven is only one cloud away.
see, that’s the kind of stuff that needs to be attached to pictures like these. Thanks.
I was speechless after your last post (Burning Poo)! This one is nice, I think Dale’s right.
Thanks Cheryl. So the burning poo went too far?
Naw, reminds me of camping except we generally deal with our own poo, not everyone else’s. That post definitely gives me a whole new appreciation of what our troops deal with. Keep up the good work – what might seem day-to-day to you is eye-opening to lots of us.
The guys that live here every day deserve the kudos. I am just a visitor. The funny thing is, even with the way things are; everyone here, including me, would rather be here than just about any place else in Afghanistan…
Stunning! thanks for sharing these…is there anything I can send to some of the guys in that area that doesn’t have much? I would be happy to if you have a POC.
Send it to the guy in charge here, he’ll distribute to his guys:
1LT Jason Oberoi
C TRP,, 1-14 CAV, 3-2 SBCT
APO, AE 09355
Awesome…I’ll get some things together tomorrow and send it out next week. Thanks!
I can assure you it will be very much appreciated. Thank you for your generosity.
Well, then just responding to your last comment, Please make sure you pass on our greatest appreciation from back home to all that you see at the FOB/COP. None are forgotten and all are appreciated. Being away from family, friends and the comforts of home in the Service of our Great Nation is something that I and my family truly appreciate and a very Thankful for.
thank you, I will.
Gorgeous! You took them right at the perfect time 🙂 Those are great photos
I love shots like this – light pouring through a cloud. Brilliant and beautiful!
