A few images of the evening sky on FOB Apac.he as thunderstorms are rolling past in the distance. It has been an interesting change in the weather, a little more humid and the thick white clouds in the sky. You can see heavy rain in the distance, but we have not had anything more than a few light sprinkles that do not even wet the ground.
The others are a few pictures from my trip to FOB Lagman the other.

Interesting photos. I just noticed you have about 15 days until you go home. Then what happens to the blog?
I haven’t decided…I’m not sure I have enough interesting content at home…
Where do you live? You can set up a photo blog. Photo a day. Had a friend that did that. Also, I don’t know much abut these things. But the military is cool with you blogging?
Minnesota. I am considering it. I will make the decision after I have gotten back to a ‘normal’ life. yes, the military is fine with Soldiers living their life like everyone else, you just need to use common sense.
Please don’t stop posting! Realize you’re just getting back home; ( ENJOY!!! ) but you may be our only way to answer some questions.What do you do if you need a dentist? How large/small is the medical team on base? Do they have the same internet provisions as everyone else? Is mail brought in from FOB Lagman daily?Is there any way that is better than another way to be assured a package will arrive to it’s final destination at FOB Apache? Was a running track graded down before you left? If you respond I have a few more. Welcome Home to the USA and God ‘s blessings to you and your family! LT

I am an Army Fiancee. I am a mother of two. Our Soldier deployed when our little girl was 2 days old. She’s 3 months old now. Daddy is on Apache. 🙂 The pictures you have up of the clouds, accoding to the date that pops up when you hold your cursor over it, says it was taken 10 September. That’s so odd to see because 11 September while teaveling from Lagman to Apache, our soldier earned his CIB… not even 2 weeks after getting there. 🙂 Its nice to be able to see what he sees. Thsnk you for your photos. Thank you for your service Lt. Col. 🙂
