I was walking along the HESCOs yesterday evening and discovered another great view of the sunset through the concertina wire. I like they way they turned out.

Sad but beautiful all the same.
Seeing the sadness or dreariness of the wire is an interesting perspective that had not crossed my mind until your comments & it seems a few others had the same thoughts. Thank you for looking.
Of course. I love your blog and your photos. It gives me a whole new perspective on your time there. And what you’re trying to accomplish. Take care and get home soon.
Great stuff, Dan.
Thank you Mark
Gorgeous colour sky.

Thank you for your comments, as I said above I had not considered the ‘sadness’ of the wire before.

Beautiful photos! 🙂 What a beautiful blog you have. One of the most interesting ones I have come across lately. Thanks for sharing it with us. best
thank you so much for the kind words!
I love these pictures they would look great framed and hung as a set! They seem to speak to man’s footprint on nature too. not sure how I feel about that….
I would be happy to send you the high res images if you want them!
These are really cool!! Hope you’re doing O.K.
things are well – getting close to the end. Thanks for looking
Found your blog while searching for info on FOB Lagman, where my friend is heading to. What a find! Your photos are absolutely incredible, they have a soul, that’s a magic you can’t learn, you have it or you don’t, and you have it! Looking forward to seeing more.

I really appreciate this. Thank you!
My pleasure!
Really nice work. I like seeing something so simple explored like this, boiling it down to a circle and a curve – it lets you really play with composition. I like it.
thanks!
Beautiful!! Diana sent me and I am glad she did. Great shots!
That is great, I’m glad you like them
They are really unique with the juxtaposition of nature and man-made, as you rightly point out. I really like them! Glad I found you. I am looking forward to following your work!
